Recruitment Data

A recent national survey of incoming college freshmen revealed that 85.9% of freshmen go to college "to be able to get a better job" (Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA). Likewise, parents' primary reason for sending their student to college is "to get a good job." (Gallup Poll for Inside Higher Ed). Career applications of a college degree are increasingly playing a central role in conversations with students and their families. The data below may be useful for these conversations.
