• Assisting with Resume Reviews

  Employers spend an hour meeting with students to offer feedback on the students’ resumes. Contact Courtney Budziak, Assistant Director for Employer Relations.
  

• Participating on Panel Presentations

  
  The Career Center often contacts employers to be part of panels on specific career-related topics of interest to students. Contact Kathy Potter, Director.

• Presenting Information Sessions

  Prior to career fairs and on-campus interviewing, employers often provide information sessions about their organizations to students. Contact Courtney Budziak, Assistant Director for Employer Relations.
  
  

• Etiquette Dinners

  
  During a three-course meal, with guidance from a guest etiquette consultant, students gain knowledge about professional business behavior. In past years, the dinners have often been sponsored by an employer, who provides financial support, is included in the marketing material, and introduces part of the evening.  Contact Kathy Potter, Director.

• Partners in Leadership

  
  This program is designed to acknowledge and thank those employers who make annual contributions of $1000 or more to the Career Center. Employer sponsorship enables us to provide innovative programs for our employers and students while increasing the employers’ visibility on campus. Partners in Leadership receive:
  
  

  • Acknowledgment on the Partners in Leadership display in the Career Center lobby
  • Recognition on the Career Center Online Website
  • Recognition on informational guides paid for by the employer
  • Advance notice of SCU Career Center recruiting events
