Program Overview

The Leavey School of Business Dean's Leadership Program is an exclusive opportunity for high-achieving first-year students interested in exploring and developing their leadership skills. This one year program provides a high impact experience which guides students through the first year of university of business school life in order to prepare them to become leaders at Santa Clara University and beyond. The Dean's Leadership Program embodies the mission of the Leavey School of Business to develop men and women of competence, conscience, and compassion who can provide leadership in technologically advanced and rapidly changing global environments.

The Dean's Leadership Program develops leaders by:

• assisting first year students in their transition to college life
• providing leadership development workshops and assessment tools which support the exploration of interests and campus opportunities
• offering small group discussions with campus and business leaders to promote the exchange of leadership perspectives and ideas
• facilitating reflective engagements to encourage personal discovery
