How to apply for a Retail Studies minor

  1. Review the Core Requirements & Options and Schedule Recommendations.
  2. Fill out the Retail Studies Program Application (RSP) and the How did you hear about the program? survey and turn both of them into the Retail Management Institute Office, Lucas Hall 111.
  3. After you turn in your forms, send an email to the Associate Director, Cynthia Gamage at cgamage@scu.edu to request for an appointment for the first interview.
  4. After you have met with Associate Director, Cynthia Gamage, you will be assigned an appointment to meet with the Director, Professor Kirthi Kalyanam for your second interview.
  5. Before you meet with the Director, Professor Kirthi Kalyanam you must fill out the Retail Studies Audit Sheet that will be given to you in your meeting with the Associate Director, Cynthia Gamage,
  6. After you have met with your Academic Advisor, bring two copies of the Retail Studies Audit Sheet with you to your second interview appointment with the Director, Professor Kirthi Kalyanam.
  7. If you are accepted into the Retail Studies Program, the Director, Professor Kirthi Kalyanam will sign your Declaration of Minor Form. You must take the approved Declaration of Minor Form to the Drahmann Center.
  8. After your appointment with the Director, Professor Kirthi Kalyanam, check-out with the RMI front desk to turn in or drop off any forms or paperwork.
