 SCU MBA Students Win 1st Place in IFAMA Case Competition

A group of Santa Clara MBA students won first place in the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) Student Case Competition yesterday. Twenty-two teams competed from universities across the globe. Each team was given 8 hours to analyze a case and provide their solution to the business problem. The theme of SCU’s case was evaluating growth opportunities for the Italian tomato processing firm Mutti.

SCU’s involvement with the competition included:

Team members: Michael Billikopf, Tina Cosentino, Alvin Chen, Ngoc Dao Ngo, and Zach Wise
Advisors: Michael Enos, Erika French-Arnold, Mike Harwood, Mahbod Parvar
Food and Agribusiness Institute Director: Greg Baker
