B-School Alum Awarded for Giving Back to SCU

Thursday, May. 2, 2013

Congratulations to Business School alumnus, Steve '88 and Deanna Erbst, for winning the 2013 Louis I. Bannan, S.J. Alumni Award! They were honored for this award at The President's Dinner on April 27.

Steve Erbst received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Santa Clara University in 1988. With his wife, Deanna, and many others in his network, Steve created Pause for Coz, an endowed scholarship to help students afford the cost of their Santa Clara education. He is currently the Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Egnyte, and has two boys, Cameron and Shane.

Watch this wonderful short video, brought to you by the Alumni Association, about the Erbst’s contribution to Santa Clara!

The Bannan award (est. 2000) is presented to an alumnus/a couple each year who have given distinguished and outstanding service to the Alumni Association and Santa Clara University. This award was established as a way to pay tribute to the heart and spirit of one of Santa Clara’s most dedicated supporters: Louis Ignatius Bannan, S.J.
