Vice President, Information Technology

Ms. DeLuca joined Yahoo! in July 2004. Previously, as vice president of Information Technology for Interwoven (IWOV), Mercedes was responsible for the global information technology organization. She established strategic goals, implemented business initiatives, and established policies and procedures for company infrastructure supporting the company’s business strategy. She also led the internal adoption program for product quality by partnering with engineering and product management to ensure that Interwoven IT was the first production customer for all product releases.

Before joining Interwoven in 2000, she was the Director of IT at MarketFirst Software (acquired by Pivotal), where she was responsible for developing the necessary infrastructure to permit the company to prepare for its IPO. Mercedes holds a BS in electrical engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
