Learning in Lucas Hall

The MBA program is housed in Lucas Hall, a state-of-the-art building featuring case-style and collaborative classrooms, and spaces designed for executive education. In addition, Lucas Hall holds 80 faculty offices, breakout rooms for group projects and quiet study, executive conference rooms, cafe and wireless networking throughout. The new building consolidates six interdisciplinary centers and institutes in one location.

Immersion in Global Business

Santa Clara MBA students travel the world examining global business models and critical factors impacting economies. Students gain experience through case discussions, site visits, and meetings with business leaders government representatives. Trips planned for 2013 are China, Brazil, and Germany. Note: global business courses are considered electives and may count towards a concentration depending on the focus of the trip. Career Management

The Career Management group at Santa Clara is available to all students and offers a range of services, including clarifying career goals, resume writing, and interview preparation. In addition, recruitment events, individual consulting services, seminars and workshops explore topics such as personal branding, business etiquette, and networking to provide our students with the necessary skills to manage their careers for a lifetime.

MBA Student Life

Outside the MBA classroom, students celebrate achievements, develop new interests and friendships and broaden their personal and professional networks.

Opportunities to become involved and develop leadership skills include the Graduate Student Representative Board (GSRB), attending network events, and participating in student networks to obtain information about industries and functions, and to interact with leaders of top Bay Area employers.
