Martina W. Frank

Martina works for the Swiss School of Public Health, where she is the project leader for a national study of the public health workforce in Switzerland. Prior to this she was a consultant in Global Health and International Education. She also designed, managed and evaluated a major population-reproductive health leadership program implemented in Asia, Africa and Latin America, with the Institute of International Education (IIE). Martina has worked with the David and Lucille Packard Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on developing new leadership grant-making initiatives in population and global health. She was a human rights investigator in Turkey, Albania and Macedonia for Physicians for Human Rights and Columbia University. For more than 15 years, she has worked in the areas of gender, human rights and women's health.
