Profiles of Impact

To celebrate the eighth year of our Women Leaders for the World (WLW) program, GWLN held its first Leader of Impact contest in 2012. Whether our WLW graduates are building schools, improving healthcare, eliminating poverty or creating jobs, each leader is committed to improving the livelihood of girls and the empowerment of women. The contest recognizes the inspirational work and community impact of 160 graduates who are making a difference in over 40 countries. Nearly 12,000 votes were received from 79 countries to help us select the winner. Read their inspiring stories here.
