Over the summer, Global Women's Leadership Network reached a milestone of impact through our events, activities and programs. We'd like to share our recent successes and show how your support has helped us all move to a better world built on gender equality, human rights and sustainable development.
Women Leaders for the World 2012 
More than 20 women leaders from around the world traveled to Silicon Valley in July to participate in this year's Women Leaders for the World (WLW) program. Each leader presented her vision and breakthrough project at the July 26 community event that was attended by over 200 people.

Leader of Impact Award

To celebrate the eighth year of the WLW program, GWLN held its inaugural
Leader of Impact contest which received nearly 12,000 votes from 79 countries.
Sandhya Puchalapalli was the recipient of the first Leader of Impact Award for her entry about ending female foeticide and infanticide in India.
