Accomplishments:
- Developed a project in and about a problematic country for my Masters thesis.
- Managing a project that is aimed to improve peoples' lives without modifying their local beliefs. A moment of pride was to know that the project will be implemented.

Accomplishments:
- I challenged the biased treatment I faced in my last year of studies by doubling my efforts to achieve high standing. I was also promoted as Idealistic Student on departure.
- I got my own independence by living alone in Luxor. I also received high recognition from my colleagues and students as one of the best teaching skilled professors.

Vision: To inspire youth to use their talents in the arts in being effective agents of change in Kenya.
Inspiring Challenge:
- Through an artistically rich television program, use cultural operators as primary sources of influences for the youth in issues of National importance e.g., governance, crime.
- Create photo exhibitions of the post-election violence (Kenya 2007/8) as a reminder to people of their responsibility as citizens in the upcoming elections.

Accomplishments:
- We managed to run a successful campaign around the country "Never Forget, Never Again" on the post election violence in 2009/2010.
- The GoDown received support for a television programme to sensitize youth through artists and cultural operators, giving us a platform to influence the youth in Kenya.

Vision: Transform Women Initiative into an international organization, moving from creating 5,000 jobs to 500,000.

Accomplishments:
- Women's Initiative for Self-Employment builds the entrepreneurial capacity of women to overcome social and economic barriers and ultimately achieve self-sufficiency.
- Women's Initiative is in the process of expanding nationally. Julie Castro Abrams, as current CEO, has raised some of the necessary funds. She plans to use the funds to offer leadership courses in Chicago and New York.

Inspiring Challenge:
- Create websites for nonprofit organizations around the globe, working with my students who design the sites and gain intercultural skills.
- Place arts and crafts directly with buyers and with retail outlets.

Accomplishments:

- I have placed over $30,000 of crafts for artists in 6 different countries.
- My Kennesaw State University class, which focuses on designing websites for nonprofits around the globe, has created five working websites and eight more in production.
