Ye Cai
Assistant Professor of Finance
Ye Cai joined the Finance faculty as an assistant professor in Fall 2010. She currently teaches “Corporate Financial Policy” in the undergraduate program. Her teaching interests include corporate finance, financial institutions, and investments. She has served as an instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and as a teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University.
Her scholarship includes work in empirical corporate finance with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and executive compensation. Her work has been published in Econometric Theory.
She received her BA in Economics from Peking University, and her MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. She earned her PhD in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
