Veronica Koo

Research Assistant

Veronica Koo is a senior at Santa Clara University and is pursuing a dual degree in Public Health Sciences and Psychology with Biology minor. She previously worked as a temporary research intern, but now works as a research assistant for the Food & Agribusiness Institute.

Veronica is originally from Mercer Island, Washington, but her family is from South Korea. She was very involved with the St. James Cathedral Soup Kitchen in Seattle, WA for several years with her mother since elementary school. Here she started to gain more interest in food security and costs.

Veronica hopes to further her education by attending a Doctorate program for Speech-Language Pathology. Veronica has been in the Chamber Chorus at SCU, along with playing intramural volleyball. She established and became president of the SCU Baking Club, and works closely with the SCU University Chapter of To Write Love On Her Arms. In her spare time, she likes volunteering, traveling, baking, playing pick-up sports, attending live concerts, and of course spending time with family and friends.
