Thomas Krugman

After a long career serving in senior leadership positions in California agriculture, Tom relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2005 to improve the quality of life for his family and begin a new career in consulting – a nice way of saying "between jobs". A one-year assignment to review Board governance structure and bylaws for a local trade association, and to make specific operational improvement recommendations while providing leadership and stability to the organization was followed by researching and writing a proposed national program for processed red raspberries. Tom continues to enjoy the benefits of this relationship, working with the Washington raspberry industry on a variety of ongoing projects.

Making his residence south of Tumwater, Washington, he and his wife are joined by his daily walking companion Snickers, the family dog. Their youngest daughter is in her third year at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, with graduation expected in June, 2011. Their other two other daughters and families are located in Modesto and Phoenix.

As the owner of Central Consulting, Mr. Krugman provides executive level services to public and private sector agribusiness on governance, organizational structure, market development, and issue advocacy.
