Associate Professor

Dr. Shin teaches courses in Microeconomics, Game Theory, and Mathematical Economics. Dr. Shin's research interests include Agency Theory, Information Economics, and Industrial Organization.

Among Dr. Shin's research are optimal task design, organizational flexibility and task allocation, imposing limited liability as a strategic devise, choice of technology in outsourcing relationships, information acquisition and project management, and collusion within an organization.  His articles are published or forthcoming in Interantional Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Information Economics and Policy, Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, International Game Theory Review, Review of Economic Design, Southern Economic Journal, International Journal of the Economics of Business, and Managerial and Decision Economics
