Santa Clara University Team Takes Third in 2009 VCIC Silicon Valley Regionals
Congratulations to Santa Clara University Team WAMBA-1 Ventures for placing third in the Silicon Valley leg of the 2009 Venture Capital Case Competition being named Entrepreneurs' Choice.
Santa Clara University was proud to host the Silicon Valley leg of the 2009 Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC). This marks the third consecutive year of the competition held here on the SCU campus. The results are as follows:
- First Place: University of Washington
- Second Place: Brigham Young University
- Entrepreneur's Choice: Santa Clara University
Congratulations to the Santa Clara University team WAMBA-1 Ventures: Anirban Chatterjee, Bill Au, Gautam Gothoskar, Sanjay Narang and San-Phay Chau.
Eight regional events were held across the United States and in the UK. The first place team from each regional event goes on to the finals to be held at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flager Business School.
