Undergraduate Internships

The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups.  A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.

In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups.  This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters.  Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E  Internship in Entrepreneurship.  For more information, please contact

ANZU Technology is a leading consulting company for food processing and packaging equipment in North America.  We consult and distribute with manufacturers from Western Europe, Japan and China.  Current and past clients include:  Google, Panda Express, Amazon, Lee Kum Kee, Treetop, Trader Joe's, Plum Organics and Langers.

Intern Responsibilities May Include:

  • Conduct market research, analyze data and create research reports
  • Assist in sales & marketing campaigns; creating strategies and following through with implementation
  • Assist with brand management; brochures, flyers, website content
  • Assist in the rpeparation and implementation of corporate business plans
  • Assist in creating project budgets, ROI models, anad analysis of financial statements

Qualifications & Key Qualities:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to distill broad corporate objectives and market obervations into actionable, go to market plans
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, follow-through and have an entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work closely with engineering, sales and support counterparts
  • Extremely reliable, detail-oriented, trustworthy, diplomatic and have the ability to multi task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be assertive and resourceful
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Willing to be flexible with management

Language skills (not required): Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Chinese helpful

Computer Skills:

  • Needed:  knowledge of Microsoft Office Porfessional programs, word processing, internet research
  • Desired:  SalesForce CRM, Act-On Marketing Automation Program
