Fractal Games Seeks Social Media Intern

Fractal Games is a startup that makes educational video games.  We are preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign for our first title, Crystal Mathematics, an action-based 3D math game for middle school kids.

We are looking for someone to create and manage our social media presence to build a community of potential users and backers before our campaign goes live.

You will be responsible for:
~ Tweeting/blogging about our own game development progress, news and events relevant to us in the EduTech space.
~ Reaching out to gaming magazines/blogs and other EduTech organizations.
~ Keeping our user/backer communities engaged throughout the Kickstarter campaign.

We're very open to new ideas. Impress us!

---Desired Skills/Knowledge:---
~ Superb writing skills.
~ Excitement for new products like ours.
~ Open-mindedness and the ability to handle the unpredictable adventures of startup life.

Strongly preferred:
~ Active tweeter and blogger.
~ Knowledge of the EduTech space.

Not required:
~ You do not have to fetch us coffee.

In addition to sending us your resume, please tell us about yourself in a short write-up, and include links to your portfolio (this could be your blog, website, or YouTube channel) and any other projects that you have worked on. Hint: we want to see how creative and effective you are at branding and viral marketing.

Undergraduate Student Preferred.

This is an unpaid, part-time internship, approximately 3-10 hours per week, available immediately and continues until the end of the Kickstarter campaign (approximately 2 months).  If we all really like each other you may intern with us forever! ;-)

Our development team works out of the Hacker Dojo, a shared workspace in Mountain View that's right next to Light Rail (across from Moffett Field). One of our co-founders lives very close to SCU and will be happy to give rides.

To apply, please forward the information requested above to fellow Bronco Vivian Tan,
