Undergraduate Internships

The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups.  A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.

In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups.  This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters.  Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E  Internship in Entrepreneurship.  For more information, please contact

 Edmondo Seeks Marketing Intern

 Edmodo is looking for a marketing intern to help engage our global community of educators. If you love social networking and are interested in working with teachers, read on.

As the Community intern, you will work closely with the marketing team on the following responsibilities:

  • Help plan, coordinate and launch an ambassador program
  • Initiate outreach to potential ambassadors and maintain ongoing communication
  • Create metrics, measure effectiveness of activities and regularly communicate results
  • Manage social networks including Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Pinterest and develop social media campaigns to help increase engagement
  • Assist with coordination of other marketing promotions and campaigns

---Desired Skills/Knowledge:---
  We are looking for a hard-working candidate who can demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social networks (Facebook, Twitter, G+) and how to engage communities
  • Appropriate business and social media etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience organizing events is a plus

This position is a paid internship, with an approximate 40 hours/week (negotiable) schedule.  The position is open ended and flexible, and available to start as soon as possible.
