The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups. A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.
In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups. This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E Internship in Entrepreneurship. Attention Undergraduate Seniors or Graduate Students:
Optimizely (a YCombinator and SV Angel Portfolio Company), based out of San Francisco, is currently seeking entry-level junior sales personnel for internship to full-time employment opportunities. Starting wage: Approximately $15/hour.
The position is a junior version of their Account Executive role:
Optimizely is a fast-growing, profitable, and incredibly fun company to work for in San Francisco. Our mission is to make it easier for organizations to make data-driven decisions and we're looking for Account Executives to close new customers. Your job will be explaining Optimizely's value proposition through demos, email, and phone calls and evangelizing Optimizely to everyone you meet!
