Graduate Students: Teams now forming for the VCIC 2013 Venture Capital Investment Competition!
The Entrepreneurs Connection is currently accepting applications for the 16th Annual Venture Capital Investment Competition VCIC 2013. Accepted applicants are required to attend a mandatory orientation session on either October 19 or October 21.
Experience the behind the scenes world of venture capital investing in this unique "not a business plan" competition. Silicon Valley entrepreneurs will present their venture to YOU, your team will select an entrepreneur, perform the due diligence, evealuate the plan and pitch and recommend investment based on your findings. You will present your findings and make your case for why you feel this venture should be supported by the VC. This competition will be judged by investors and experts in the venture capital industry. The winning team will compete as the Santa Clara University team in the West Regional leg of the 2013 VCIC in Southern California. The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship will work closely with the winning team to secure mentors for the team who will provide coaching, support and advice. In addition, the CIE will also secure a faculty advisor to assist in coaching the team and travel to the competition with the group.
