 Surfmark (pre-launch SV Startup) Seeks General Intern

Surfmark, Inc. is a new pre-launch Silicon Valley startup looking for ambitious, outgoing students who are interested in innovative technology to support a little bit of everything - marketing, business development, operations and social media efforts.
Our various functions need someone who wants to expand on what they are learning in school, and who wants to apply that knowledge in the working world. We are looking for someone who is CURRENTLY a student or a recent grad.

Primary responsibilities include:
*Analyze and make recommendations on potential partnerships for Surfmark
*Welcome and guide new users to Surfmark
*Resolve user issues and questions in a timely and positive manner that builds loyalty
*Monitor activity across various social media platforms and compile analytics
*Conduct research related to social media marketing strategies and the competitive landscape
*Execute social media and guerilla marketing campaigns
*Stay up to date on startup & technology news, and help share what you learn with our team
*Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of Surfmark's services and be able to position them effectively to the Surfmark client community
This is an unpaid internship; however, interns will benefit from real-world startup experience, as well as strong mentorship and professional guidance from the founders.  Incentive Bonuses (e.g. scholarships, iPads, gift certificates) and equity compensation will be considered.

Open to virtual internships, but prefer someone in the Bay Area.

*Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
*Past experience proving strong work ethic either through school or previous jobs.
*Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and can work without significant structure
*Interested and engaged in the latest social media and technology trends
