If you are currently in school, and are seeking either a bachelors or masters degree, then you are eligible to apply for one of our Public Relations internships at Zynga. (The fine print: If you have already graduated from your college or university, unfortunately you are not eligible for an internship, but you are invited to apply for one of our Full-time New Grad positions... see our New Grad postings for those details!)
Zynga is looking for an intern to join our public relations team this fall! The perfect candidate demonstrates the ability to undertake basic public relations writing assignments, and posses an understanding of basic media relations skills, an ability to interact professionally with colleagues, and most important, a good attitude when faced with new challenges in an ever-changing environment.
We are committed to developing high quality casual and multi player games!  Come join us ... we're having a ball!
Draft basic public relations materials including press releases, blog posts, internal employee notes, media alerts, fact sheets, and meeting summaries.
Compile and analyze news coverage.
Work with our social media director to maintain and build Zyngas presence on networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Quora.
Work with our events team to assist in ad-hoc planning, including company meetings and employee events.
Attend and participate in Marcom team meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions as directed.
Assist with a variety of projects simultaneously.
Maintain most up-to-date company information for fact sheets and backgrounders.
Event research and logistical support.

---Desired Skills/Knowledge:---
  Currently majoring in PR, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
Past corporate communications experience a plus.
Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and deadline driven with excellent written and editorial skills.
Extremely organized and attention to detail necessary; multi-tasking abilities and flexibility a must.
Knowledge and deep interest in social media.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
