Networking Arrive to the Silicon Valley ready to hit the ground running. Bring business cards and begin building your network. The program places very strong emphasis on networking and extra-curricular events. In addition to the many on-campus lectures and speaking events, CTE students are highly encouraged to attend the vast number of off-campus events throughout Silicon Valley. Organizations that sponsor events in the Bay Area include the Churchill Club, TIE, SVASE, EXerox PARC, SDForum and others. Students receive event notifications, but it never hurts to subscribe to receive emails from each organization. Plan to include as many of these events as you can for a fully enriching experience at Santa Clara University.
