2008 Marilyn J. Perkins Claassen Scholarship Winner


Michele Addington, MedImpact Healthcare Systems


The second Marilyn J. Perkins Claassen Scholarship was awarded in 2008 to Michele Addington. Michele is the Treasurer for MedImpact Healthcare Systems in San Diego, CA.  The following is an excerpt from Michele’s application:

"Achieving the CEP designation identifies the designee as a subject matter expert in the Stock Options discipline.  Becoming a subject matter expert is essential in order to achieve professional recognition from peers and associates……Personally, serving as a role model is of the upmost importance and sharing my knowledge is a never ending goal of my professional career…I believe I would be a great Ambassador for the Stock Options profession and for the CEP designation."


Michele firmly believes in enhancing her knowledge and skills, and has made “continuing education” a way of life.  Michele earned a Master’s degree in business management from LaSalle University, she is a Certified Cash Manager (CCM)  and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), and will be a speaker at the upcoming AFP Conference in Los Angeles, addressing the members on stock options.  Now she will be working on adding “CEP” to her long list of credentials.
