Several CPA firms sponsor national student accounting competitions in which students compete for prizes and recognition.

 
  • iconErnst & Young Reel Influence

    Reel Influence is a video competition for accounting and business students that occurs in the fall quarter. Teams create a 3-minute video on a specified accounting topic. Rules and prizes can be found at the EY reel influence website: www.ey.com/us/ReelInfluence (opens in a new window).
  • iconPricewaterhouseCoopers xACT Campus Competition

    xACT (short for extreme accounting) is a national accounting case competition designed to expose students to real world accounting/auditing issues.  The competition occurs in the fall quarter. Teams are given two weeks to prepare a presentation on a specified accounting topic to a panel of PwC partners and managers.
