The Accounting Department continues to host research workshops as part of our commitment to support faculty research. We invite nationally and internationally recognized scholars to present their research projects at Santa Clara University.

On February 22, 2024, the SCU Accounting Association and Young Alumni Board held a “Meet the Alumni” pizza social event in the Benson Parlors BC for the Accounting and A&IS majors. 53 students attended.

The Accounting Department hosted the annual Accounting Information Night on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 7:00-8:30 pm in Locatelli Center.

On January 31, 2024, 43 students met with representatives from 20 firms and a professional auditing society at SCU’s annual Winter Accounting/A&IS Career Fair.

Thomas Kelly, Accounting class of 2024, received the 2023-2024 California Society of Certified Public Accounts (CalCPA) Outstanding Accounting Senior Award.

SCU Faculty Development was delighted to share students’ “Thank a Professor” submissions about Accounting professors from the Fall 2023 quarter.
