Electronic Content Development and Mobile Learning
Wednesday, April 17 (Varsi Hall Room 114)
Are you interested in developing teaching modules/textbooks for your courses on mobile devices? What are the advantages/disadvantages of mobile devices versus desktops/laptops as platforms for electronic content? Are you interested in hearing from faculty who are working on using gaming approaches in their teaching? Join Nicholas Tran (Math and Computer Science) and his colleagues from the Working Group on Developing e-Content as they talk about their work developing an iPad app for reinforcing key concepts taught in an introductory computer science course. Maria Pantoja (Computer Engineering) will give a presentation of this project and invite you to share your ideas about electronic content development in your own fields.
