Calling all Bronco fans! Come together as a Santa Clara community on Feb. 16 in San Francisco, the Peninsula, Seattle, Denver, Santa Rosa, Stockton/Modesto, and Hawaii to watch and cheer on the men's basketball team as they defend their 2011 home court win against the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

February is a big month for two alumni. Nina Acosta '82 was chosen to compete on "Survivor: One World" while A.J. Riebli '91 and his work on Pixar's newest short "La Luna" (exclusively shown at the 2011 Grand Reunion) was nominated for an Academy Award. Tune in to support our Broncos as they compete for top honors!
Mark Your Calendars: The next installment of "Survivor" begins on Wed., Feb. 15 while the 84th Annual Academy Awards airs on Sun., Feb. 26.

Santa Clara Chosen for the 2013 Solar Decathlon Competition
Santa Clara hopes the third time will be the charm in one of the world’s most prestigious competitions to determine the best designer and builder of a net-zero energy house. The U.S. Department of Energy announced that Santa Clara University will compete in the 2013 Solar Decathlon, joining 19 university and college teams from around the world.

Professor Victor Vari to retire after 66 years of Service
For many of us, Dr. Vari has been more than a professor; he has been a mentor and friend during his 66 years of service to Santa Clara.
