Blanco, Eva

Eva Blanco M.A. '11 is the new dean of Undergraduate Admission at SCU. "The desire to positively affect young lives and promote higher educational attainment drew me to college admissions. A strong sense of community and passionate students attracted me to Santa Clara. SCU changes lives and is located in a place that is equally transformative. Nothing compares to entrepreneurial spirit of the Silicon Valley and beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area!"

Eva volunteers much of her extra time to organizations and activities that she cares abouts. She's served as national chair of the Yale Latino Alumni Association, scholarship chair of the California Hispanic Professional Association, and grants committee member of the Arts Council of Silicon Valley. "I also enjoy spending time with my loving husband, DJ-ing, finding my Zen with yoga, and visiting my family in Venice, CA (my hometown). Last but not least, I love exploring the Bay Area."
