Kathleen Tonry '92 has been out of touch for a while but would like to note that she was busy producing 30 pounds of baby and a book. Kathleen and her husband, Brian Lynch, welcomed a baby girl, Irene, on December 27, 2014. Irene joins older siblings Mary (2007) and Tommy (2012). Kathleen was recently awarded tenure and is a professor of English at the University of Connecticut, Storrs.
Tina Stafford ’92 has been performing with the First National tour of the Broadway Musical Once for over a year. She hopes all Broncos will have the chance to come see it.
Kerry San Chirico '92 is the new assistant professor of Interfaith and Inter-religious Studies at Villanova University. Having taught at the University of Hawaii at Manoa since 2012, Kerry, along with his whole family, is excited to make the 6,000-mile trek east by plane, minivan, and Winnebago.
Patrick T. Miyaki J.D. '92 writes, "I have been appointed the section leader of the Hanson Bridgett Government Section. I also was chosen to be the Alumnus of the Year by the political science department of San Francisco State University."
Respected intellectual property attorney Alexandra J. Horne J.D. ’92 has joined Hoge Fenton, a leading Northern California law firm. Practicing together most recently at the firm of Lewis Roca Rothgerber, Brody-Brown and Horne have expertise in the areas of trademark counseling and prosecution, including portfolio analysis and strategic counseling, domestic and global registration and enforcement, domain name issues, and licensing. They will be based primarily in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
Horne, an IP practitioner of more than 20 years, counsels clients on domestic and foreign trademark registration and licensing and enforcement, including opposition and cancellation proceedings in the USPTO. Horne’s clients, which range from startup to well-established, come from a diversity of industries, including semiconductor, software and other technology, mobility, Internet, banking, entertainment, education and wine.
SCU religious studies and pastoral ministries professor Paul Crowley, S.J., STL '92 has been appointed editor of the journal Theological Studies by its board of directors.
Bennett Cloud '92 sold his company in 2013 after 16 years and has been enjoying his career and passion as a financial advisor with Mass Mutual in Dallas, Texas.
Simon Chiu ’92 was named president of Saint Francis High School, in Mountain View.
