In her spare time, Terri Marcroft '80 is executive director of a nonprofit called Unplanned Good, which encourages teens facing unplanned pregnancy to consider making an adoption plan. The cause is very close to her heart, since Terri became a mom when a 16-year-old chose to make an adoption plan; now Terri wants to encourage others in the same way. She writes, "We just launched our redesigned website, www.UnplannedGood.org. Since we have a teen audience, we had to make our site easy for viewing on mobile devices. Visit our new site and--if you feel moved--support our mission!”
Michael Ferreira ’80 has been elected vice president of CWA-TNG Local 39000, a newly formed labor local representing the nearly 900 certified employee interpreters working in the California Superior Courts. Mike, who is certified for both federal and state level courts, works full-time in the profession at the flagship Gov. Deukmejian Courthouse in Long Beach, Calif.
Holly Kupka Cimino ’80 fell in love with the Italian culture her junior year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. She recently formed her own business, Cimino Tours, which specializes in tours specifically to Cinque Terre, Italy. Visit her Cimino Tours Facebook page or her website Ciminotours.com.
