Patrick Tondreau ’70 is serving as a Superior Court Judge in Santa Clara County and was named the 2013 Wilmont Sweeney Juvenile Court Judge of the Year by the Juvenile Court Judges of California. He also received the 2014 Wester Sweet Award for Legal Activism by the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP.
Mary Terry Rector ’70 retired from GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation), where she had been a senior vice president for nearly 14 years. She and her husband, David, relocated to Genoa, the oldest town in Nevada. Lake Tahoe is about 20 minutes away, and deer, horses, cattle, sheep, and llamas abound in the beautiful Carson Valley.
Bill McGrath ’70 just completed his 25th year on the Bench in San Diego County as a Superior Court Judge. He and wife Grace met on their junior year abroad in Vienna and have been married for 44 years with two sons and two grandchildren.
Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis ’70, M.A. ’73 was honored by the Italian American Cultural Center Foundation for her dedication to the marine environment, Monterey's cultural past, Italian and Japanese heritages, Catholic community, and Fisherman's Wharf.
