Paul F. Weston '64,  MA '73 taught during the spring semester at The Royal University of Phenom Phen. He worked with students in the English Support Program. These students are in teacher training and are learning curriculum management, classroom strategies, and effective teaching skills.

John Turner ’64 M.A. ’72 writes that he currently lives in downtown San Jose after living in Los Gatos for 30 years. He Retired in 2004 after teaching high school English for 35 years. He enjoys volunteering and serving on two boards.

Clarence Sullivan ’64 writes: “My grandad taught the Commercial Course in 1911. My parents and four grandparents are buried at the University Cemetery and my daughter, Kieran Sullivan, is a professor in Psychology now.”

John Johnck '60 attended his 60th Reunion from the 8th grade Class of 1952 at St. Vincent de Paul, San Francisco, Calif. First gathering ever. He lives in So Lake Tahoe, Russan River, and S.F. and is retired. Go Broncos!

Garibaldi, Bob

Bob Garibaldi '64 has been inducted into the Sac-Joaquin Section Hall of Fame. Bob pitched for SCU in the 1962 College World Series and was named the CWS Most Outstanding Player that year. He later played four seasons with the San Francisco Giants.

Garibaldi, Bob

Bob Garibaldi ’64 was inducted into the Sac-Joaquin High School section athletic hall of fame class. In high school, Garibaldi was a star for both the basketball and baseball teams. In 1960, he led the state in scoring average with 25.3 points a game. He went to Santa Clara University and was a pitcher for the best baseball team in school history. He no-hit defending NCAA champion USC to get into the College World Series and was named the 1962 CWS Most Outstanding Player even though Santa Clara lost to Michigan in the championship game. He set CWS records for strikeouts (38) and innings pitched (27.2). He played four seasons in the Major Leagues with the San Francisco Giants.

William Burke '64 is in his 43rd year as a financial advisor with Morgan and Stanley in Ventura County.  He is joined by his daughter, Erin, and son, Brian, in his practice.

Charlie Barca ’64 writes: “Joyful first-time grandfather of Libby Rose McGrillen (born October ’09), the daughter of Sarah Barca ’95. ‘Nonno’ gets to ‘nanny’ twice weekly while Sarah owns and operates Funky Door Yoga in the Haight. Her family lives in Bernal Heights in San Francisco.”
