Dean Birge MBA '91 was hired as controller of Mission City Federal Credit Union in Santa Clara.
Richard Weber '92 was recently interviewed in The Californian for his role at Whitson Engineers, where he is an owner and principal partner. A general civil engineering and land survey firm that dates back to the late 1970s, the company has projects in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties. It is also beginning projects in Southern California. Weber joined Whitson Engineers in 1993.
Mark Davis ’95 and Ellice welcomed their second daughter Reese. Tess finally got her sister. The family lives in Creston, Ca.
Jill Rivera ’96, who played softball for four seasons at Santa Clara University, often played catch with her son, Chris Rivera, in the yard even before he entered T-ball. Now he's accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Long Beach State. A single mom, Rivera works for a family-owned general contracting business in Watsonville.
Katie Susemihl ’97, J.D. ’05 and Ryan Bennie welcomed their first child, Thomas Ryan Bennie, on June 28, 2014. He weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. The family lives in Santa Rosa.
Guisselle Nuñez ’97 is now director, External Affairs, KQED Silicon Valley. She's responsible for developing and executing KQED’s strategic engagement and communication initiatives in Silicon Valley. She will still continue to teach marketing courses at the University of Phoenix and volunteer as a mentor, startup/small-business marketing consultant, and more.
Eric Iwamoto ’99 and Wendy (Vu) Iwamoto ’99 welcomed a boy, James Toshiro Vu, on April 7, 2014. He joins big sister Ellie, 5. The family lives in Ladera Ranch, Calif.
