1998
Simone Eppich '98, a Ph.D. student in nutrition at the University of Washington, married Marshall Talbot, an orchardist, on March 29, 2008. The wedding party was full of family members including four nephew ring bearers and one niece flower girl. The honeymoon was postponed until June as Simone went right back to school, and Marshall headed off to the family orchard to help protect the apple and cherry trees against the damaging frost. The couple make their home part-time in Seattle and part-time in Wenatchee, Wash.
Ryan T. Dunn '98 and his wife, Julie Briggs Dunn were thrilled to welcome Dylan Patrick Dunn on January 13, 2009. The Dunns live in San Francisco.

Olga Diaz ’98 was named Civic Leader of the Year at U-T San Diego’s second annual San Diego Latino Champions Awards ceremony.
Jeffrey Dennison '98 was named one of the "40 Most Outstanding Individuals" on the Kitsap Peninsula by the Kitsap Business Journal.
Joe DeLucchi '98 and wife Kim DeLucchi are pleased to announce the birth of their second child, Kara Sophia, born May 25, 2010. She joins big brother David at home.
Amber (Nixon) De Buizer '98 and Dr. James De Buizer were wed on October 10, 2011, in Los Gatos, Calif. They live in Sunnyvale. Amber is a non-profit fundraiser, and James is an astronomer.
Naomi Dalzell Martinez ’94, J.D. ’98 is the managing director of Grupo Tasomi, S.L. She lives in Hong Kong.
Brian Crowley MBA ’98 joined MotionDSP, a Silicon Valley–based company that develops advanced, real-time image processing software for video enhancement and analytics, as director of federal solutions. Prior, Crowley led hardware, software, and services sales efforts throughout the U.S. intelligence community and U.S. Air Force for EMC and NetApp.
Lynn M. (Harr) Cole '98 married Peter J. Cole on November 27 2010 in Portland OR. The couple lives in Gresham OR. Lynn continues to work as a high school counselor.
Jason M. Caskey ’98 is an attorney in the Intellectual Property and Information Technology group at Kutak Rock LLP, specializing in technology licensing, copyright, trademarks, and commercial transactions. His wife, Kirsten, and he welcomed their son Daniel Patrick on December 26, 2011, joining big sisters Grace (6) and Claire (4). The family lives in Omaha, Nebraska, but Jason makes it back to the Bay Area to visit with clients and friends as often as possible.

Rogelio Calderon '98 and married Karen Conoley on Jan. 10, at Ashley Manor in Phoenix, Ariz. Bryan Stofferahn served as a groomsman. Other alumni in attendance: Mark Brower '99, Tim Henward '99, and Chris and Stacy (Collins) Burbach.
Eileen Briggs Brinker '98 and Aaron Lynn Brinker '98 welcome with great joy a son, Andrew Briggs Brinker. Born August 31, 2010, he weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz. and 20 inches long. He joins big sisters, Mia Grace (5 yo) and Reese Marie (2.5 yo).
Aaron ’98 and Eileen (Briggs) Brinker ’98 welcomed their fourth child, Tyler Lynn Brinker, on March 6, 2012. Weighing 9 pounds and 21 inches, he joins siblings Mia (6), Reese (3.5), and Andrew (1.5).
Blake Boznanski '98 and Erica Milanese '03 were married on August 21, 2010 at Notre Dame des Victoires parish in San Francisco. The wedding party included Tom Trewin '98, Zach Finley '98, Jeff Cassidy '98, Fergus McCreary '98, Kate Jenkins Monaco '03, Meghan McCormick '03, and Suzanne Raleigh Roberti '03. The couple resides in San Francisco.
Blake Boznanski '98 and Erica Boznanski '03 welcomed their first child, son Dylan Walter, on Oct. 11, 2012. The couple resides in San Francisco.
Esther (Zaltsmann) Aronov '98 and husband Alex are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Gabrielle Dora Aronov, on September 19, 2011. Gabrielle joins big brother Jacob, age 5 1/2. The family lives in Newton, Mass.
Christy Aguirre '98 recently received state and national awards for her contributions to the library profession. She was named 2012 Outstanding Librarian in Support of Literacy from California Libraries Association and 2013 Library Journal's Movers and Shakers Community Builders from American Libraries Association. She attributes much of her success to her SCU education, "community building is a way of life, not just a job." She currently supervises Sacramento Public Library's Southgate Branch.

Pallie Zambrano J.D. '99 is an associate with McManis Faulkner and is co-president of the Northern/Central California chapter of the Pajama Program, a nonprofit that collects new books and pajamas for children in shelters.
Pallie Zambrano J.D. ’99 has been honored by the YWCA of Silicon Valley with a 2013 Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award, one of the most prestigious awards given by local and regional YWCAs nationwide. Zambrano is a partner at McManis Faulkner, a leading Northern California trial firm.
The TWIN Award program was established in 1984 to honor the outstanding achievements of female executives who have demonstrated excellence in business leadership positions and to pay tribute to the companies in which they work. Zambrano joins a group of honorees selected from Silicon Valley technology, legal, communications, nonprofit, and healthcare organizations that have acted as successful role models for other women in business, exhibited top-level responsibility in a major functional role, and who have had a substantial impact on the organization’s growth, profitability and innovation.
Nader Robert Yasin '94 and his wife, Lynn, welcomed their third child, Max Julien, into their family this last year. Nader continues to assist companies in Silicon Valley with assessing, protecting and enforcing their intellectual property and with general business litigation through his law firm, La Fleur & Yasin LLP.
