Amanda '03 and Timothy Shim '02 welcomed their third child, Jonah Keahi on May 10, 2010. Jonah joins proud big sisters Isabelle (2) and Chloe (4). The Shims are raising their family on the beautiful island of Maui and loving every minute.
Kathleen F Sherman J.D. '05 is a litigation associate with Berliner Cohen in San Jose, specializing in general business litigation and white collar criminal defense.
Annie Selak '05, M.Div. '09 is serving as a Rector at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. Annie graduated with her Master of Divinity degree in 2009 from the Jesuit School and Theology and worked for a year in Los Angeles as Director of Campus Ministry at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
Joshua A. Sbicca '05 and Jennifer Grisaitis '06 were married by Paul Fitzgerald '80, S.J. on August 1, 2009 at Holly Farm in Carmel, California. Joshua is pursuing his Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Florida. Jennifer is entering her third year of medical school at the University of Florida.
Travis Salha ’05 and Nicola van Rensburg were married on April 17, 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa. Matt Tuttle '05 served as best man. Other Broncos in attendance included Katy Tuttle '05 and Kristin Belanger '05. The couple met in London, United Kingdom, and now live in San Jose.
Lisa (Eskey) Rodriguez MBA ’05 and her husband Steve welcomed their second son, Coby Gage, on April 20, 2013. He joins Jax, 2. They live in Pleasanton.
Steven Riccoboni '05 received his M.D., with a concentration in Global Health, from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City this May. He is returning to California to begin an Emergency Medicine residency at UCSF-Fresno.
Timothy Reed J.D. '05 and I-Lan Emily Lin welcomed their first child, Gavin Weixiang Reed, on Sept. 9, 2012.
Angelina Ramos ’05, a former pop music star, now teaches a leadership class at ACE Charter High School in San Jose, Calif. From Union City, Ramos decided to leave the glamorous life of a singer after fifteen years to return to her roots in the Bay Area. Read more here.
Michael Pittman ’04, J.D. ’08 and Alexandra Perazzelli ’05, M.A. ’09 were married on July 9, 2011, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif. Members of the wedding party included fellow Broncos Josh Griffin ’03, Ryan Auffenberg ’03, Justin Little ’06, Christopher Garber ’04, Bruce Martinez ’04, Greg Flanagan ’03, John Hinman ’06, Jessica Frank ’05, Katy Shumm Tuttle ’05, Kristin Belanger ’05, Tara Bussiere Salcido ’04, and Katie Carlson ’03. The happy couple lives in Long Beach, Calif.
Nancy Pineda-Madrid Ph.D. ’05, assistant professor of theology and U.S. Latino/a ministry at Boston College, has recently published Suffering and Salvation in Ciudad Juárez (Fortress, 2011), which addresses the question: How are we to understand faith in a God who saves given the extreme violence against female humanity identified as feminicide? This book argues that while Christian salvation must be interpreted as both personal and social, in the here and now of feminicide, we learn that community is the condition for the possibility of salvation.
Megan Hochstetler '05 married Jason Pierson on August 7, 2011 at Youngberghill Vineyards in McMinnville, Oregon. The outdoor wedding was attended by friends and family from across the United States and Europe. Ruth Stanton '06 was part of the wedding party. The couple currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Michael J. Piellusch MS ’05 earned a doctoral degree from Argosy University after successfully defending his dissertation on leadership styles in the U.S. Army. He is now working as an adjunct professor at Argosy. He mentions Dr. Robert J. Parden, Engineering Management Department Chair, on his acknowledgements page.

Jessica (Ballweg) Perkin ’05 is the new girls soccer coach at Aptos High School. Perkin has coached women's soccer at the University of Virginia and the University of Nevada. She was also the director of soccer operations at Rutgers. She is currently the head coach in the Santa Cruz Breakers Club organization. She has also coached in the Olympic Development Program. As a Santa Clara Bronco, Perkin helped her team win three consecutive West Coast Conference Championships [2001, '02, '03] and a national championship in 2001. She was a team caption, selected twice to the NCAA All-Tournament Team, and was named the Defensive MVP of the 2002 NCAA Tournament.
Keith W. Paulson ’69 and Claire M. Campodonico write, "Our daughter, Angela Anne Gavin M.A. ’05, was married to Tomislav Majic. Their first child, Natalia Rose, was born on July 9, 2013. Angela works full-time as an advanced-class yoga teacher in Los Gatos."
Kyle Ostrom ’05 and Marcy (Redmond) Ostrom ’05 welcomed son, Brandon, on Sept. 30, 2013. He joins big siblings Keira and Tyler. The family lives in Glendale where Kyle teaches chemistry and Marcy works at an elementary school.

Ann Nguyen '05 and Tyler Folck '04, J.D. '08 were married on May 9, 2009 at Mission Santa Clara. Members of the wedding party included Audrey Abar, Andrew Lefevre '04, Michael Zakowski '04, and Kathy Folck M.A. '98. Also in attendance were Erica Hernandez, Erika (Garcia) Hernandez, Vivian Myers, Michael Renzi J.D., and Stacy (Asato) Toledo J.D./MBA. The couple lives in Sacramento. Ann works as a demand planning analyst at Verifone, Inc. in Rocklin and Tyler is an attorney at Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard in Sacramento.
Thai-Huy "Peter" Nguyen ’05, upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Ph.D. in education in May, will be joining the faculty of Seattle University's College of Education as an assistant professor of Student Development Administration in fall 2015. He and his partner will be moving to Seattle this summer.
