Prosecutorial Oversight: A national dialogue in the wake of Connick v. Thompson

1:00 PM to 3:30 PM

This forum is the last stop on a national tour inspired by the United States Supreme Court decision in Connick v. Thompson. In Connick, the Court declined to abolish absolute immunity for prosecutors, even in the most egregious of cases, based on the incorrect assumption that systems are already in place that effectively deter misconduct. The goal is to generate productive dialogue about what should be done to meaningfully address the problem.
