The Artsde Saisset MuseumThe de Saisset Museum is the University's accredited museum of art and history. It presents changing art exhibits throughout the year and serves as the caretaker for the University's California History Collection, which includes artifacts from the Native American, Mission, and early Santa Clara College periods. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during regularly scheduled exhibitions, and closed Mondays and major holidays. Center of Performing ArtsThe SCU Center of Performing Arts presents numerous theater productions, music performances, and dance concerts throughout the year. Its Mayer Theatre complex includes the 500-seat Louis B. Mayer Theatre and the 130-seat "black-box" Fess Parker Studio Theatre. The Music and Dance facility houses a 250-seat Recital Hall, as well as multiple studio spaces.
